Carrie & Paul
Carrie Caley & Paul Martinez tied the knot on the 3rd.   Dinner and reception followed the ceremony.  I'm glad people keep getting married so I can dance with my wife!   We hope they last forever!
Congratulations, Carrie & Paul!

Anita & Vince
My on the scene reporter says that Anita & Vince have their permits and have been seen driving the GT Cruiser around (and around and around) Mount Calvary Cemetery.   Apparently they're not content to just drive GT's car, they honk the horn when they pass his grave.  I'm sure there's a minor earthquake when they pass caused by Grandpa Tony's anger, and Grandma Mary's laughter.
Way To Go, Kids!

Anniversaries
Speaking of weddings, we have three anniversaries coming up shortly. Amy Jo and William's 9th is on the 7th, Jeanette and Craig's 2nd is on the 9th, Amy and Brian's 2nd is today the 5th.    If all those numbers didn't screw up your brain, you qualify for college!
Happy Anniversay, Eveybody!

Italian Holiday
The 14th is Columbus Day.  That's our day. I always make sure to tell people (women) that they have to hug an Italian to celebrate the day.   So make sure you do , too!
Happy Italian Day!!

This Week's Memory
My Aunt Bess & Uncle John's Wedding.   I was seven years old, and had recently made my First Communion at Holy Cross.   So I had a brand new navy blue suit to wear that day.    The day started with breakfast at my Grandma Sanfilippo's house.  She had doughnuts, and I wanted to make sure I had enough to eat later, so I put a jelly doughnut in my suit jacket pocket.  Of course I forgot it was there, and it got squished real quick.   I remember my mother being quite upset when she had to clean out that pocket.  There was a dinner that afternoon at Leonardo's Restaurant in Buffalo.  It turned out that I didn't need to worry about food, because they just kept bringing stuff to the table, and I ate until I was stuffed.  And of course there were the sandwiches at the reception, all wrapped in wax paper, plus the cookies and the barrel of peanuts!  Add in the drunks arguing and falling down, and being allowed to stay up real late, and it was a great day for a little kid.
See You Next Time!
