Long Lost Cousin Found!
After a few years, I'm happy to report that Susan (the Atlantic Seaboard branch of my family) found a long lost cousin in her emailbox this week.    She's going to have a great time catching up on things with him.   Who is it that she found?   Me!
Welcome to The Buffalo Gang News, Susan!

Isabelle's Birthday

Isabelle's birthday came and went on the 11th.   I refuse to say how old she is, but next year she hits 50.  She's celebrating with a trip to Florida.  I hope she enjoys the trip, and had a great birthday.
Happy Birthday, Isabelle!

Dominic's Birthday
My Western New York reporter sent this reminder.    "We can't forget Donny turns 32 march 17th.   He will celebrate by getting drunk and waking up in a gutter.  Oh, he does that every week-end..."  I have nothing to add to that.
Happy Birthday, Dominic!

Allyson's Birthday
Allyson will be a year old on the 21st.   Her mother reports "Allyson is into every dam thing. She started walking.    Did you ever watch how fast a spider crawls especially when you're trying to catch it and kill it?    It's almost as if the spider knows you're after him so he crawls even faster...anyway, that's how Allyson is - faster than a speeding bullet.    She gets into things she shouldn't, looks up at us and smiles." Enjoy motherhood, Theresa!
Happy Birthday, Allyson!

Us
We made reservations for Hawaii in September.  The other day Mary Lou said she wanted to go so bad that she could smell Hawaii.  For those of you who are interested, I installed a counter at the top of the Main Page, so you can countdown the days with us until we go.
Only 176 days left!

Babies
Today's edition features the third 1st birthday story I've written in a couple of months.  It made me think of when my kids were born, and how quick they grew up.   I remember holding each of them for the first time, and a great feeling of joy, followed by a heavy feeling of responsibility swept over me.   Then, in what seemed like a matter of weeks, they were grown, and I was giving them away to start their own families.    Holding my grand children for the first time was great.    I remember laughing out loud from sheer happiness with all of them, and that responsibility thing never hit me with them.   They're all such cool small people!  Anyway, this is just my way of saying I love babies, even if some of them are afraid of my beard!
Hi, Kids!
